Murrumbidgee Local Health District is seeking Locum Surgical Registrars PGY4+ to support hospitals across southern NSW.

This role is ideal for registrars wanting a change of scenery, hands-on surgical experience and the chance to work in friendly regional hospitals.

You will support elective and emergency surgical units, assist in theatre, manage pre- and post-operative care and help with acute presentations through ED.

Clinical Environment

- General Surgery with visiting subspecialty services
- Elective lists, emergency theatre and trauma exposure
- Ward-based care, ED reviews and on-call options
- Consultant backup and junior support at most sites
- Strong procedural opportunities in regional hospitals

Requirements

- AHPRA Registration
- PGY4+ with recent General Surgery experience
- ALS2 preferred
- NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Strong clinical judgement and safe escalation
