n KE Select is partnering with an established organisation operating within the scientific and laboratory supply sector to recruit an experienced Customer Service Representative.

n Our client provides a broad range of specialised products and solutions to customers across the scientific and laboratory industry. The role has a strong focus on customer relationships, service excellence and operational efficiency, the business is seeking a proactive and customer-focused skilled to join its team.

About the Role

n Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this position offers a diverse mix of customer service, sales administration, relationship management and proactive sales support.

n You will play an important role in delivering a positive customer experience, managing enquiries and orders, coordinating service requirements and supporting the broader sales team.
n Beyond day-to-day customer support, you will also have the prospect to build customer relationships, identify sales opportunities and contribute to ongoing business growth.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage customer enquiries relating to products, pricing, availability, orders and deliveries.
n
- Prepare and process customer quotations and sales orders accurately and efficiently.
n
- Proactively follow up quotations and engage with existing and prospective customers.
n
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support retention and growth.
n
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling and promoting new products.




n
- Coordinate equipment servicing, repairs and warranty enquiries with suppliers and service providers.
n
- Liaise with internal sales, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
n
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities and opportunities within the CRM system.
n
- Assist customers with online ordering, account registrations and eCommerce enquiries.
n
- Work collaboratively with Account Managers to support sales initiatives and customer requirements.
n

About You
n

To be successful, you will ideally bring:n

- Previous experience in customer service, internal sales, sales support or a similar customer-facing role.
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.
n
- Experience managing quotations, processing orders and coordinating customer requirements.
n
- Confidence engaging with customers over the phone and identifying potential sales opportunities.
n
- Excellent organisational skills,



attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
n
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
n
- A collaborative attitude, commercial awareness and a willingness to take initiative.
n

Experience within scientific, laboratory, medical, technical or industrial products would be advantageous; however, candidates from other product-based or distribution environments with strong customer service and sales support experience are encouraged to apply.n
