Hays Trades & Labour are currently recruiting experienced Carpenters with a strong background in shopfitting and commercial fit-outs for upcoming projects throughout the Perth metropolitan area.
Your new role
You will be working across a range of commercial fit-out and shopfitting projects, carrying out high-quality carpentry work in fast-paced project environments.
Your duties may include:
- Commercial carpentry and fit-out work
- Shopfitting and internal fit-outs
- Installation of doors, frames, skirting and fixtures
- First and second, fix carpentry
- Reading and working from plans and drawings
- General finishing and defective work
- Working alongside other trades to meet project deadlines
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Trade qualification in Carpentry
- Previous shopfitting or commercial fit-out experience
- Strong finishing and attention to detail
- Construction White Card
- Own tools and reliable transport
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to site safety
