About the role:

ARS BUSINESS PTY LTD, trading as Vogue Cutz Barber, is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and reliable Hairdresser to elevate its premium grooming and styled precision operations. This role is ideally suited to a proactive, hands-on qualified possessing comprehensive technical hairdressing capabilities and the agility to thrive within a fast-paced, high-end environment. The position centers on managing upscale client portfolios, maintaining optimal inventory control of premium styling and chemical hair products, ensuring the absolute quality and precision of all services, and delivering a gold-standard customer experience. The successful candidate will mentor and support junior styling staff, coordinate high-end product procurement and visual merchandising displays, and actively drive retail and service sales performance while ensuring total operational efficiency and strict compliance with workplace health, safety, and industry regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities:

- Delivering expert client consultations to accurately assess hair and scalp conditions; providing tailored advice on high-end hair care regimens, premium styling products, and contemporary hairstyles aligned with Vogue Cutz's styled precision standards.
- Utilizing advanced cutting techniques with technical instruments—including precision scissors, commercial clippers, and texturizing razors—to execute high-quality, structured haircuts tailored to diverse client profile requirements.
- Articulating, mixing,



and applying complex chemical solutions for specialized color treatments (foils, balayage, custom tints), permanent waving, and safe structural hair straightening systems while minimizing product waste.
- Delivering elite men's grooming and traditional barbering services, including customized facial symmetry mapping, hot towel straight-razor shaving, precise beard shaping, and detailed mustache trimming.
- Maintaining a pristine, gold-standard environment by strictly cleaning active styling zones, sterilizing advanced instruments, and managing chemical waste in total compliance with state occupational health and safety (WHS) regulations.
- Coordinating the salon’s digital appointment booking matrix, orchestrating fluid daily column workflows to minimize client wait times, and accurately processing financial transactions via the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Cleaning, coloring, cutting, altering, and styling premium hairpieces, extensions, and custom wigs to satisfy specialized aesthetic, restorative, or cosmetic client transformations.

What we are looking for

- A relevant qualification, preferably a Diploma.
- Minimum of 1 year of continuous experience working as a qualified Hairdresser
- Strong understanding of salon stock control, chemical inventory tracking, product waste reduction, and service cost management practices.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills, combined with effective client consultation abilities and daily booking column management.
- Strong commitment to maintaining elite standards of salon cleanliness, tool sterilization, chemical workplace safety, and premium customer service.
