Are you a passionate Chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and enjoys creating exceptional food experiences?

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at HMAS Albatross, Nowra. This casual opportunity is ideal for chefs looking for flexibility while working within a professional and supportive kitchen environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare high-quality buffet-style meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner services
• Support functions and special catering requirements as required
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
• Support stock control, deliveries and kitchen operations
• Ensure food quality, presentation and portion control standards are maintained
• Work collaboratively as part of a professional kitchen team

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Experience in commercial kitchens,



catering or bulk food production
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety and allergen management
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and presentation
• Reliable with a positive and team-focused approach
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
