Key Responsibilities

- Research and analyse market trends, customer preferences and product demand to identify suitable retail products.
- Source, evaluate and select suppliers for coffee products, beverages, merchandise and other retail goods.
- Negotiate pricing, purchasing terms, delivery schedules and supply agreements with suppliers.
- Plan and manage purchasing activities to maintain appropriate inventory levels and product availability.
- Monitor sales performance, stock movement and purchasing budgets to maximise profitability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective suppliers.
- Review product quality, pricing and market competitiveness.
- Coordinate with management and retail teams to identify purchasing requirements and seasonal demand.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier documentation and inventory reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency,



reduce costs and expand product offerings.

Skills and Experience

- Relevant qualification in Business, Commerce, Retail Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Previous experience in retail buying, purchasing, procurement or a similar position.
- Solid negotiation, supplier management and analytical skills.
- Sound understanding of inventory control, pricing strategies and retail market trends.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple purchasing priorities.
- Experience in the food, beverage, coffee or hospitality retail industry will be highly regarded.
