The opportunity:Our client is currently looking for skilled and dedicated Trade assistants to join their installation team at their Welshpool workshop. Our client installs, welds and commissions various items in truck cabs - ranging but not limited to batteries, cooling systems and compressors to name a few. The role will suit someone who is proficient with hand and power tools and has sound mechanical and electrical aptitude. Previous experience with trucks or vehicles will be looked upon favorably.
We don’t require any official trade certificate and are happy to teach on the job; we just require someone who is hungry to learn and has the right mindset.The successful applicant will enjoy a clean, friendly environment and a management team who are supportive and see value in their staff. The client offers job security by offering a fulltime contract from the beginning and steady OT and weekend work if desired.
