KBSS Engineering is an award-winning, Pilbara-based business delivering maintenance and project services to Oil & Gas and Mining clients. We are looking for a Marketing & Proposals Coordinator to join our team in Karratha and support our marketing and business development function.

About the role

Based at our Karratha office and reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will work across a range of business development and promotional activities. This includes social media content, email marketing, events and community sponsorships, award submissions, and tender and client proposal development.

What you’ll be doing

- Creating and scheduling social media content, and maintaining the content calendar
- Running regular email campaigns and internal communications, including newsletters and announcements, and maintaining client and employee databases
- Partnering with the Recruitment team on recruitment marketing and employer branding campaigns
- Updating website content and reporting on campaign, website and social media performance
- Supporting the coordination of bids, proposals and tender documents
- Maintaining capability statements, case studies and the company profile for external publication
- Coordinating local events and community sponsorships, and keeping the internal and external events calendar up to date
- Researching and preparing industry award submissions
- Managing the image library and brand collateral,



making sure everything meets KBSS brand guidelines
- Coordinating marketing suppliers and tracking sponsorship and marketing spend
- Ad hoc duties as required, including business administrative tasks

About you

- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, or a role with applicable skills
- Qualifications in marketing, communications or a related field, or relevant work experience
- Strong copywriting and editing skills, with a creative and proactive approach
- Highly organised, with good attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Current WA driver’s licence

Experience with Canva, HubSpot, digital campaign systems, or AI platforms is advantageous. Experience in the Mining or Energy sector is highly regarded.
