1st Care Community Victoria is seeking reliable Domestic Assistance Workers to help older people maintain aclean, comfortable home. Your practical support will make everyday tasks easier while respecting each client's routines and preferences.

What you will do

- Provide household cleaning such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting and cleaning kitchens and bathrooms.
- Assist with laundry, changing bed linen and other agreed household tasks in the client's support plan.
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely, following infection prevention and workplace procedures.
- Encourage clients to take part in household tasks where they wish and are able to do so.
- Record completed tasks and report hazards, concerns or changes in the client's wellbeing to the care team.

What you will bring





- A current National Police Certificate and vaccination records.
- A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- A current First Aid certificate.
- Good attention to detail, time management and the ability to follow agreed cleaning tasks.
- A respectful approach to working in people's homes and supporting older people from different backgrounds.
- Domestic cleaning or home support experience is desirable. A second language, particularly Greek, is an advantage.
