Chef – Join the Team

Kempsey Macleay RSL is a thriving regional Club at the heart of the community, known for its welcoming atmosphere, outstanding facilities and stunning river views. From conferences to intimate meetings and large-scale events, our venue offers a dynamic and exciting hospitality environment.

We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Chef to support our Head Chef and work alongside a kitchen team of up to 10 staff servicing our restaurant, bistro, café and function operations.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be passionate about food, thrive in a fast-paced workplace and bring creativity and energy to the kitchen.

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Be a qualified Chef with experience in a similar fast-paced environment

- Have the ability to work efficiently under pressure

- Demonstrate creativity and pride in food presentation and menu development

- Have experience with stock ordering and food costing





- Contribute fresh ideas for menus and daily specials

- Be hands-on and team-oriented

- Be flexible to work a rotating roster including days, nights and weekends

- Hold valid working rights in Australia
