Sub-Foreman / Leading Hand – High-Rise Residential

We have multiple opportunities for experienced Sub-Foremen and Leading Hands to join one of Sydney’s largest and most established Developer Builders.

Australian-owned and established for more than 100 years, this highly regarded developer has delivered thousands of apartments across Sydney and has played a significant role in reshaping the city’s skyline.

As a Sub-Foreman / Leading Hand, you will report to the Foreman and play an integral role in the successful construction and delivery of major Class 2 high-rise residential apartment developments.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the management of day-to-day site operations.

- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades in line with the construction programme.





- Assist in ensuring key project milestones and programme targets are achieved.

- Maintain high standards across quality, safety and compliance.

- Coordinate site deliveries, materials and logistics.

- Work closely with the Foreman and wider project team to ensure works are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

To Be Considered, You Will Have

- Previous experience working on Class 2 residential apartment projects for a Head Contractor or Developer Builder.

- High-rise experience, ideally on projects 6 storeys or above, will be highly regarded.

- Experience across structures, fit-out / finishes or façade – candidates from all disciplines are encouraged to apply.

- A strong eye for detail with a genuine focus on quality.

- A trade background in carpentry and/or Construction Management qualification.

- Robust knowledge and understanding of WHS requirements and site safety processes.

- Excellent communication, coordination and leadership skills.

- The ability to take ownership of your responsibilities and work with minimal supervision.
