Opportunity:
Part time dentist roles with a fixed finish time do not come up often. This one runs within Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm, in a practice in Altona North that treats patients from childhood through to adulthood, with Fridays and weekends left free for you.

The principal dentist leads a practice that offers checkups, fillings, crown and bridge, root canals, wisdom tooth removal, Invisalign, veneers and whitening, along with mouthguards. Emergency patients are usually seen the same day, and patients with private health funds are welcome.

The focus is on affordable care and a pain free experience, an approach that builds trust with patients and encourages them to return for regular visits. For a dentist who wants a contained week and a varied caseload, that combination is hard to find.

Altona North puts you on the western side of Melbourne, about 13km from the CBD and a short drive from the bay. About You:
You hold current AHPRA registration and enjoy a diverse general dentistry caseload. You communicate warmly with patients of all ages, explain treatment and costs clearly, and are comfortable working independently alongside the principal dentist. A genuine interest in cosmetic dentistry, including Invisalign and veneers, is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide general dentistry to children and adults
- Carry out crown and bridge, root canal and wisdom tooth treatment
- Offer cosmetic options including whitening, veneers and Invisalign
- See emergency patients as they arise
- Maintain accurate records and meet infection control standards
