About the role

Kippax Dental is a new growing dental practice in Holt, Kippax Shopping Centre Area, looking for an adaptable individual to assist the dentist chairside.

This role starts as Casual with a view to move to Full-Time for the right candidate.

You will need to be a quick learner, team player who is good at multitasking.

Key responsibilities

- Greet patients and prepare them for scheduled procedures

- Provide assistance to the dentist, including operating suction and managing materials

- Build rapport and communicate with patients

- Clean and sterilize instruments; decontaminate treatment rooms in accordance with practice policies and ADA standards

- Maintain dental equipment and monitor clinical stock levels

- Manage incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and perform follow-up confirmations

- Prepare documented treatment plans, process payments (HICAPS/EFTPOS), and ensure accurate fee allocation

- Maintain accurate patient records and databases

- Assist with local marketing activities and opening week promotions as directed





About you

- HSC or equivalent

- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (favored but not essential)

- Valid right to work in Australia

- Ability to build rapport with patients and adapt communication styles for challenging situations

- Proven ability to switch between clinical and desk duties under pressure

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dental practice management software

- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and compassionate approach to patient care

- Strict adherence to infection control

- Ability to work collaboratively with Dr. Liao to achieve the startup goals of Kippax Dental

- Using logic to identify solutions for patient scheduling or administrative hurdles
