This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and gain valuable hands-on experience in a busy, supportive radiology environment. Working alongside experienced radiographers, sonographers and radiologist, you will assist with the day-to-day operation of the imaging department while helping ensure patients receive a positive and comfortable experience.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting radiographers and other clinical staff with daily imaging workflows.
- Preparing patients and examination rooms for imaging procedures.
- Assisting with patient positioning and transfers within your training and scope of practice.
- Supporting patient care before, during and after examinations.
- Maintaining clinical rooms, equipment and stock levels.
- Assisting with infection control and cleaning protocols.
- Supporting general clinical and administrative duties as required.
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to maintain efficient patient flow.
- For suitably qualified and registered radiographers, performing imaging examinations within their scope of practice.
