Wine Room Ambassador - Jansz – Seasonal Casual opportunities - Two roles

Jansz Tasmania is the preeminent sparkling wine house in Australia. We are excited to offer this opportunity in our Wine Room located in the Pipers River region of Tamar Valley in Northern Tasmania. The Pipers River region is located an hour from Launceston and is considered to be the home of the finest Australian Sparkling wine. The Jansz Wine Room is well established within the Pipers River region

About the role

Reporting to the Wine Room Manager, this customer-focused role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences at every opportunity.

Key requirements

- Host consumer guests and provide a tasting experience consistent with the brand vision.

- Understand the importance of wine tourism experiences in the attraction of visitors to the brand sites and providing a positive experience of the brands.

- Ensure the presentation of the Wine Room and surrounding grounds is clean, tidy, and consistent with the brand vision.





- Ensure food handling specifications from local authorities are strictly adhered to in accordance with licence requirements.

About You

To be successful, you will demonstrate a personable, approachable, and friendly disposition as well as the charisma to deliver the Jansz story in a compelling and engaging manner. A background in hospitality and good wine knowledge will obviously be advantageous.

Ideally, we are seeking an individual with wine sales or hospitality tourism experience, however, a genuine passion for wine and the ability to decipher customers’ needs and preferences are more significant.

You will need to be comfortable with working in a busy Wine Room environment and be able to undertake manual handling duties as well as extended periods on your feet.

This is a casual position that involves weekend and after-hours work.
