GEM Industries is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic 1st Year Electrical Apprentice to join our team at our Central Coast factory, commencing in January 2027.

This is a great chance to start your electrical career, learning from experienced tradespeople while gaining hands-on experience in the manufacture and wiring of commercial and industrial electrical switchboards.

What You'll Be Doing

- Assisting with the assembly and wiring of electrical switchboards.

- Learning to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

- Using hand and power tools safely and correctly.

- Assisting with testing and quality checks.

- Maintaining a safe and organised work area.

- Completing TAFE studies while developing practical skills on the job.

About You

You are someone who:

- Has a genuine interest in the electrical industry.

- Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn.





- Has good attention to detail and takes pride in your work.

- Enjoys working as part of a team.

- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

- Holds (or is working towards) a current White Card (desirable but not essential).

- Holds a current driver's licence or has reliable transport (preferred).
