About the role

Join the team at Poulos Bros Seafoods as a part time or full time Fish Scaler / Filleter based in Pyrmont, NSW. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the skilled scaling and preparation of a variety of fresh seafood to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

- Carefully scale, clean and prepare a range of fresh fish and seafood products to meet customer specifications and quality requirements

- Maintain a high level of hygiene and sanitation in the food preparation areas

- Follow all relevant food safety and quality control protocols

- Work collaboratively with the broader production team to meet daily targets and business needs

- Working hours will be 4am - 10am Mon - Fri part time or 4am . 1pm Mon- Fri plus Sat Morning fulltime

What we're looking for

- Previous experience working as a fish scaler or in a similar seafood production role

- Strong knife skills and the ability to scale and fillet fish and prepare seafood to a high standard

- Good eye for detail and commitment to maintaining quality and food safety standards





- Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting and meet daily production targets

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment

- This role could suit someone currently on a restricted visa eg Student Visa.
