Eventpower Solutions seeks the services of an Electronic Instrument Technician to maintain our hire equipment.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Electronic Instrument Technician will be responsible for the oversight and maintenance of electrical hire equipment, fleet of generators and light towers, and synchronisation of equipment and generators. The purpose of this role is to ensure that all equipment hired from Eventpower Solutions is always ready to be deployed at an instant, and to schedule all maintenance, repairs, and administration in accordance.

Areas and responsibilities of role

1. Manufacture electrical equipment including, switchboards, distribution boards, junction boxes, and other electrical equipment related to temporary power

2. Monitor generators and equipment. Using controls and software (including ComAp), diagnose faults and schedule maintenance and repairs.

3. Coordinate of equipment testing and compliance, ensuring we meet our professional and workplace safety requirements.

4. Coordination of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

5. Implementation of safety procedures for all aspects of generator and electrical hire equipment.

Regular stocktakes of electrical inventory to enable purchasing within the allocated budget.

7. Coordination with the workshop production team to meet deadlines

Essential skills and qualifications

* Certificate III or IV in Automotive Electrical Technology, Electrotechnology, Instrumentation & Control, or Bachelor of Electrical Engineering

* Forklift licence

* Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

* Knowledge of current workplace safety regulations and procedures

* Electrical manufacturing experience

* Electrical installation experience

* Management of budgets, cost control, stocktake, and inventory

* Reading and writing wiring diagrams and schematics

* Robust IT knowledge

Desired skills

* HR or HC licence

* Warehousing experience

* Electrical Test & Tag licence
