Design & Build are seeking an experienced Defects Foreman for an immediate-start, 3-month contract working across multiple high-rise luxury apartment projects on the Gold Coast.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on construction professional with a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills and experience managing defects and finishing works within high-end residential developments.

You will work across multiple projects, coordinating trades and subcontractors to ensure outstanding defects are rectified efficiently and completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate defects and rectification works across multiple high-rise residential projects.
- Conduct site inspections and identify outstanding defects and incomplete works.
- Coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure defects are addressed within required timeframes.
- Monitor the quality of rectification works and ensure a high standard of finish.
- Track outstanding defects and follow up with relevant trades to ensure timely completion.
- Liaise with Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
- Assist with final inspections, handovers and close-out activities.




- Maintain site safety and ensure all works are completed in accordance with project requirements.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Defects Foreman, Finishing Foreman or Site Foreman.
- Experience working on high-rise residential or luxury apartment developments.
- Strong understanding of finishing trades, quality control and defect rectification.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage competing priorities across several sites.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and hit deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Available to commence ASAP and commit to the 3-month contract.
