About the role

As Kindergarten Director / Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for the educational leadership, day-to-day management and effective operation of Bundara Kindergarten. Working collaboratively with the Management Committee, educators and families, you will play an important role in maintaining a high-quality kindergarten program while supporting a positive, professional and inclusive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

- Leading the delivery of a high-quality, play-based kindergarten program aligned with the EYLF and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline
- Providing leadership, mentoring and skilled support to educators and staff
- Overseeing daily kindergarten operations, staffing, rostering and administration
- Maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework, relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives, including the kindergarten's Quality Improvement Plan
- Supporting budget management, financial administration and operational reporting
- Building strong, positive relationships with children, families, staff and the wider community
- Working closely with the Management Committee to support effective governance and strategic planning
- Promoting a safe,



inclusive and supportive environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive

About you

- An approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
- Current Queensland College of Teachers registration, where applicable
- A current Blue Card and relevant First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
- Sound knowledge of the EYLF, QKLG, National Quality Framework and relevant early childhood legislation
- Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills
- The ability to balance educational outcomes with staffing, compliance and operational responsibilities
- Previous experience in kindergarten leadership, staff management, budgeting, quality improvement and service administration will be highly regarded
