The Opportunity

We are seeking Faith-Centred Educators to lead live, small-group online classes as independent contractors.

Role details

- Remote, part time contractor position
- Hourly pay of A$50–75 per hour, depending on the number and size of the classes you teach
- Classes currently run across Years K–10 in small groups
- Teaching days and times are set once classes are confirmed and scheduled
- More teaching hours become available as enrolments grow

The lessons are already designed and prepared for you. Rather than spending hours writing curriculum, you’ll focus on what matters most: building relationships, mentoring students and leading engaging live sessions that encourage discussion, inquiry, collaboration and biblical thinking.

What You’ll Do

- Lead live online classes using our prepared curriculum and teacher guides
- Guide students through project-based, inquiry-driven learning
- Teach through our Responsive Discipleship Learning™ (RDL) approach




- Encourage participation, curiosity and critical thinking
- Build meaningful relationships with students and families
- Help students grow in confidence, purpose and Kingdom character
- Give encouragement and personalised feedback throughout the term
- Work with our education team to keep improving the student experience

What You’ll Bring

Essential

- Experience teaching or facilitating learning (classroom, online, homeschool or alternative education)
- Confidence leading live online classes
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A current Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Alignment with the mission and values of The Transformation Network

Highly valued

- Teaching qualification or relevant tertiary degree
- Experience with project-based or inquiry-based learning
- Experience in Christian education




- Familiarity with the Australian Curriculum
