Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Salesperson role based in Victor Harbor, SA, with some work-from-home flexibility for tasks such as follow-up calls, online customer inquiries, and administration. Day-to-day responsibilities include welcoming customers in the showroom, understanding their flooring needs, providing product recommendations, preparing quotes, and closing sales. The Salesperson will maintain up-to-date product knowledge, assist with basic showroom merchandising, and coordinate with installers and suppliers to support a smooth customer experience.

The role also involves handling phone and online enquiries, updating customer records,



and contributing to sales targets through proactive outreach and excellent service.

Qualifications

- Strong sales and customer service skills, including the ability to build rapport, identify customer needs, and confidently present solutions.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with transparent spoken and written English and the ability to explain technical details in simple terms.
- Basic numeracy and computer skills for preparing quotes, processing orders, and using point-of-sale and CRM systems.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customers, follow up on leads, and meet sales targets.
- Willingness to learn flooring and carpet products, installation options, and design considerations; prior retail or flooring experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site in Victor Harbor, SA, with some tasks performed from home, and to stand for extended periods in the showroom as required.
- High level of reliability, professionalism, and ethical conduct, with a focus on delivering a positive customer experience.
- Previous experience in retail, home improvement, or interiors is beneficial; formal qualifications in sales or customer service are an advantage but not mandatory.
