Meatsmith is looking to add to the team for the Christmas period, could this be you?

Meatsmith currently operates 4 retail stores as well as a Production department. We're continuing to grow, and looking for a Casual Butcher/Knife hand to join our team.

The candidate we are looking for will have a some butcher/knife skills and an eye for quality. Working in the Production Butchery team, you will be responsibilities will include , Product preparation, packing, preparing and cutting orders, managing production schedules within required timeframes, maintaining quality control systems and more.

An excellent wage with casual loading is available for the right candidate.

About Meatsmith:

We have a focus on traditional butchery paired with modern techniques, seasonality, and showcasing specialty breeds. You'll have the opportunity to work with Australia's best producers and ingredients.

We have an in house kitchen producing restaurant-quality meals, sauces & condiments, as well as a smokehouse producing a range of smallgoods, pates & terrines. In addition to this, our dry-age coolroom sees a rotating range of cuts from different breeds of beef, sold in-store as well as to some of Melbourne's best restaurants.
