- $89,000 a year Gia Cafe & Bistro is a busy family run restaurant with a fully equipped kitchen Located in Laura Mall in the Blue Mountains. They are currently looking for hardworking and dedicated chef to join their team with chef experience in western and Asian cuisines. They are open from Thursday to Monday for breakfast and lunch. Also Friday to Sunday dinner service. Skills, Duties, and

Responsibilities:
Skills in preparing different variety of cuisine. Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes. Plan Refresh menus 2-3 times per year, estimate food and labour costs. Food and ingredient stock management and ordering supplies.



Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation Train and manage junior cooks and kitchen staff. Achieving all safety, hygiene, and food quality To be considered for the position you must possess the following: At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery are desired but not essential Ability to cope with 60 covers per service.
