Cafe All-Rounder

LXD Lounge is looking for a friendly, reliable and energetic Cafe All-Rounder to join our team.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent service and can confidently jump between different areas of the cafe as needed.

About the Role

As a Cafe All-Rounder, you will be involved in the day-to-day operation of the cafe, including:

Providing friendly and professional customer service

Taking orders and processing payments using Square POS

Preparing and serving coffees and other beverages

Assisting with food preparation and plating

Running food and drinks to tables

Clearing and resetting tables

Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the cafe

Restocking fridges, displays and service areas

Assisting the kitchen and front-of-house team when required

Following food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures

Helping ensure the cafe runs smoothly during busy periods

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous cafe, hospitality or customer service experience

Previous experience using Square POS

A positive and friendly attitude

Good communication and teamwork skills

The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment





A strong focus on customer service

Valuable attention to cleanliness and presentation

Reliability and a willingness to learn

The flexibility to assist across different areas of the business

Barista experience is highly desirable, but training can be provided for the right person.

Pay: $27.00 – $34.00 per hour
