Voice of Kids Australia is looking for a passionate, energetic and experienced Public Speaking, Debating & Drama Teacher to join our teaching team.

Our program is designed to help children become confident, articulate and creative communicators through a energetic combination of Public Speaking, Debating and Drama.

THE ROLE

You will deliver engaging and interactive classes covering:

- Public speaking and presentation skills
- Speech structure and delivery
- Voice projection, pronunciation and body language
- Impromptu speaking
- Persuasive speaking
- Debating and argument development
- Critical thinking and responding to opposing viewpoints
- Drama and role-play
- Improvisation
- Storytelling
- Character development
- Stage confidence and performance

The successful teacher should be able to create a classroom where children feel confident to speak, debate, perform, experiment and express their ideas.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have:

✓ A recognised teaching qualification
✓ Current NESA accreditation or equivalent recognised teaching credentials
✓ Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
✓ Excellent spoken and written English
✓ Experience teaching children, particularly primary-school-aged students




✓ Strong classroom management skills
✓ Excellent communication and presentation skills
✓ Ability to confidently lead group discussions, debates and performances
✓ Availability every MONDYA TO FRIDAY from 3:40 PM to 5:40 PM, ANY 3 DAYS / WEEK

HIGHLY DESIRABLE

PAY

$70–$100+ per hour, depending on qualifications, teaching experience and relevant Public Speaking, Debating or Drama experience.
