About Us
Bistro Penny is part of a growing family of restaurants across NSW. We're expanding, with a new venue opening soon, and we're building our kitchen teams with chefs who want to grow with us.

The Roles
We're hiring 6 chefs across our venues, including Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, Commis and KP's. If you're ambitious and want to grow alongside a group that's on the move, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

- Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard during busy services
- Run your section with confidence, from prep through to close
- Help develop specials and contribute ideas to seasonal menu changes
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and stock control standards
- Support and train junior team members (senior roles)
- Work as part of a tight, respectful kitchen team

What We're Looking For

- 3+ years' experience in a skilled kitchen (role-dependent)
- Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong knife skills and solid fundamentals
- Calm under pressure and organised during high-volume service




- Reliable, punctual, and a genuine team player
- Availability across rotating rosters, including nights and weekends
- Current food safety certificate (or willingness to obtain)

- Pay: $60,000 – $90,000 per year, depending on role and experience
