We're partnering with a regional public hospital in regional VIC find an experienced Clinical Pharmacist for a short-term contract role.
This role is suited to pharmacists with hospital experience who are confident working independently across wards in a supportive team setting. Please note, this position is not suitable for interns or international candidates.
What's on offer
- $70-$80 per hour + super, depending on experience
- Accommodation provided
- Return travel covered (flights or fuel reimbursement)
- Full-time hours
- 8-12 week contract with potential for extension
The role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Clinical pharmacy services across general medicine, surgical and rehabilitation wards
- Medication reconciliation, reviews and discharge counselling
- Admissions and discharge planning
- Participation in ward rounds and collaboration with medical, nursing and allied health teams
- Supporting day-to-day pharmacy operations and patient care initiatives
What you'll need
- Full AHPRA registration - we don't do any intern roles.
- Australian hospital pharmacy experience (public or private)
- Confidence working independently on wards
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
