Job DescriptionPharmacy Retail ManagerAbout the Role N Merrimac Pharmacy is seeking an organised, proactive, and customer-focused team member to join our pharmacy. This varied, hands-on role combines S2/S3 customer service with responsibility for retail merchandising, stock control, patient accounts, and daily pharmacy operations. N Working closely with thepharmacy owner, you will help ensure the smooth running of retail operations, maintain high standards of store presentation, and support efficient business processes. N n We are a small independent community pharmacy operating Monday-Saturday, we offer local home delivery, webster packing, LAOI, sleep apnoea and vaccine services. Our pharmacy is situated between a medical centre and National Custom Compounding.Key Responsibilities N Customer Service N n Provide professional customer service and build positive relationships with patients and customers. N Offer accurate S2/S3 product guidance within scope and refer clinical enquiries to the pharmacist when required. N n Retail &Merchandising; N n Implement planograms, promotions, and seasonal displays. N Maintain high standardsof store presentation, product placement, and shelf replenishment. N Ensure promotional pricing and retail displays are accurate and up to date. N n Stock Control & Inventory N n Process supplierinvoices accurately and maintain organised stock records. N Manage stock ordering, date checking, rotation,



and inventory levels. N Liaise with supplier representatives regarding stock and promotional requirements. N n PharmacyOperations & Patient Accounts N n Oversee patient accounts, including account maintenance, monitoring outstanding balances, and following up on payments. N Assist with daily operational and administrative tasks in collaboration with the pharmacy owner. N Maintain accurate records and support compliance with relevant QSPP requirements and pharmacy procedures. N Essential Requirementsn N 2 years’ pharmacy experience OR 1 year in a similar retail stock/operations role. N Completed S2/S3 Pharmacy Medicines Course. N Current Australian driver licence. N Current First Aid and CPR certification. N Robust organisational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills. N Experience with pharmacy management software and inventory systems. N Working knowledge of QSPP requirements and pharmacy retail standards.
