Loader Operator opportunity in Hume. Training available for relevant machine operating experience.
Your new company
Hays is working with a well-established asphalt production facility in Hume seeking a Front End Loader Operator to join their team.
Your new role
You will primarily operate a 6.3T front end loader, loading trucks and machinery and moving materials around the asphalt plant. You'll also complete basic cleaning and maintenance of the machine and may operate other machines such as a skid steer.
There is also potential to be trained in broader asphalt plant operations.
What you'll need to succeed
- White Card, Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness
- Previous machine operating experience, such as loader, roller, excavator, skid steer or similar
- Loader VOC preferred but not essential
- Asphalt, quarry, concrete plant or similar experience highly regarded
- Flexibility to work varying day and night shifts
- Strong safety focus and willingness to learn
Front end loader experience isn't essential. Training and a VOC can be provided for the right person with relevant machine operating experience.
