We're looking for a passionate, energetic and people-loving Barista to join the team at This Way Canteen , part of House Made Hospitality.

If you love making seriously good coffee, enjoy a bit of banter with your regulars and thrive in a fun, fast-paced café workplace, this could be the perfect spot for you.

This Way Canteen is all about great coffee, incredible sandwiches and salads, good music and a team that genuinely enjoys what they do.

We've got a loyal following of regulars, particularly our Monday-to-Friday corporate crowd, who keep us busy and make every day interesting. We know their names, we know their coffee orders, and we love being part of their daily routine.

About the Role

We're serving Allpress Coffee , working with quality equipment and a team that takes its coffee seriously without taking itself too seriously.

With a busy mix of takeaway orders and dine-in guests, we're looking for someone who can move confidently through a morning coffee rush while maintaining exceptional quality in every cup.

Whether it's a perfectly poured takeaway flat white or a beautifully presented dine-in cappuccino, consistency, attention to detail and great latte art matter to us.

But being a great barista is about more than just making great coffee. It's about the people, the energy and making someone's day that little bit better.

What We're Looking For

- Solid barista experience in a busy, high-volume café environment.
- A genuine passion for coffee, with solid espresso extraction, milk texturing and latte art skills.
- Confidence preparing both high-volume takeaway coffees and beautifully presented dine-in coffees.




- The ability to maintain quality, speed and consistency during busy service periods.
- A warm, friendly personality and a natural ability to connect with customers.
- Someone who remembers a face, learns a regular's order and enjoys a good conversation.
- A team player who is reliable, takes ownership and genuinely enjoys hospitality.
- A big smile, a great attitude and a willingness to get involved.
