Design & Build are partnered with a national contractor that works with Tier 1 Contractors and Builders all over Australia.

You will be working across a diverse portfolio of technically challenging projects, you will be responsible for developing robust cost estimates, coordinating tender submissions and involved in strategic bidding decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the preparation of cost plans, estimates and tender submissions from initial review through to final submission.
- Analyse project requirements, technical documentation and commercial conditions to establish accurate pricing.
- Develop cost-effective delivery approaches, resource assumptions and project sequencing strategies.
- Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor pricing to support competitive bids.
- Identify commercial risks, pricing gaps and opportunities to improve tender outcomes.
- Work closely with operational and commercial teams to validate assumptions and develop bid strategies.
- Maintain accurate estimating records, cost databases and tender documentation.
- Participate in tender interviews,



client discussions and project clarification processes.

Profile:

- At least five years' experience in estimating within construction, civil works, infrastructure or a related contracting environment.
- Proven ability to prepare detailed estimates and manage multiple bids concurrently.
- Solid understanding of construction techniques, resource requirements and project costs.
- Confident interpreting technical documentation, scopes of work and contractual requirements.
- Experience working with estimating, cost planning or project scheduling software.
- Strong commercial judgement, analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships across project teams, clients and subcontractors.
