If you're looking to secure a part-time accounting assignment before Christmas for the next three months this opportunity offers immediate work for-profit organisation. Working for a business that does valuable you will support the finance function during a busy period while contributing to the accuracy and integrity of day-to-day financial operations.

This is a three-month contract commencing as soon as possible, offering two days per week (Thursday and Friday) based in Croydon. The role would suit an experienced accounts professional who enjoys hands-on transactional accounting.

You will provide support across core finance activities including:

- Manage bank reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
- Prepare and post journals accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform corporate credit card reconciliations and follow up outstanding transactions
- Maintain financial records within MYOB
- Assist with month-end finance administration and reporting requirements

To be successful, you will bring:

- Previous experience in a Assistant Accountant, or Accountant
- Strong bank reconciliation and journal processing experience




- Experience using MYOB
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively

Desirable:

- Previous experience within the not-for-profit sector
- Exposure to supporting month-end processes and financial reporting
