Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Network Procurement, you will take ownership of strategic sourcing activities and supplier management across a portfolio of network operations categories. You will inherit active procurement programmes, including a critical infrastructure tender, and play a key role in driving commercial outcomes, supplier performance and category strategies.
Key responsibilities include:

- Leading end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFPs, RFQs and tender processes.
- Managing strategic supplier and vendor relationships.
- Developing and maintaining category and procurement strategies.
- Leading commercial evaluations, negotiations and contract execution.
- Partnering with technical and operational stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver commercial outcomes.
- Managing supplier performance, governance and risk.
- Providing procurement expertise across network operations, infrastructure and services categories.
- Supporting multiple concurrent procurement initiatives within a complex and fast-paced environment.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Previous Category Management,



Strategic Sourcing or Procurement experience.
- Exposure to telecommunications, network infrastructure, technology, data centre or operational services categories.
- Strong end-to-end tender and RFP management experience.
- Demonstrated commercial negotiation and contract management capability.
- Experience managing complex suppliers and stakeholder groups.
- Strong analytical and commercial evaluation skills.
- The ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into procurement and commercial outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Highly regarded experience includes:
- Telecommunications or network operations procurement.
- Data centres, field services, managed services or infrastructure procurement.
- Engineering or technical industry exposure.
- Experience working with complex technology vendors and services providers.
