Lead complex Test & Evaluation activities supporting the integration and assurance of Defence land systems

Your new company
You’ll join a technically focused Defence environment responsible for integrating complex land-based digital, ICT and combat-system capabilities. The broader engineering function supports systems engineering, integration, technical assurance, experimentation and Test & Evaluation across interconnected systems. The environment includes specialist test facilities and supports activities spanning developmental, acceptance, operational and cyber Test & Evaluation, together with systems-of-systems integration and compliance testing.
Your new role
Working within a systems engineering and validation environment, you’ll support the design, development, conduct and reporting of Test & Evaluation (T&E;) activities. The role has a strong focus on ensuring appropriate T&E; methodologies are applied while engaging with Defence projects, stakeholders and enabling ICT providers.

- Plan, conduct and report allocated T&E; activities.
- Identify, coordinate and manage testing requirements, including associated risks and safety considerations.
- Advise Project Managers on test objectives, methodology, trial planning, scheduling, evaluation and reporting.
- Review test plans and supporting documentation to ensure a sound basis for T&E; activities.
- Facilitate T&E; workshops, including Test Readiness Reviews and related activities.
- Collect, manage and analyse test results and develop formal test reports.
- Support standardisation, templates and guidance while working with internal and external stakeholders to prioritise T&E; requests

What you'll need to succeed
You’ll bring demonstrated T&E; experience together with the technical,



organisational and stakeholder-management capability required to operate effectively in a Defence engineering environment.

- Demonstrated experience in Test & Evaluation roles.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases and information systems.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- The ability to work in person at the primary ACT facility.
- A minimum NV1 security clearance at commencement, or the ability to obtain one, noting the successful contractor must maintain NV1 throughout the engagement.
- Highly desirable: previous ADF service or Defence T&E; experience, and experience across Defence acquisition, sustainment, systems engineering, integration, ICT or project management.
- Desirable: configuration management, joint or coalition ICT/mission systems experience, technical reporting and experience in Defence capability development, integration, T&E; or experimentation.

What you'll get in return

- This long-term contract provides hands-on involvement in complex systems engineering, assurance and T&E; activities within a Defence land capability environment.
- A contract running from 1 January 2027 to 30 June 2028, + potential further 12-month extension, at Defence’s discretion and subject to the stated conditions.
- Exposure to developmental, acceptance and operational T&E;, systems integration and technical assurance.
- The possibility of domestic and international travel supporting activities such as working groups, field trials, exercises and coalition engagement.
