We’re on the lookout for a skilled digital content skilled to join our Trans Health Equity team and support the maintenance and delivery of TransHub. This role will create and manage website, social media and campaign content that helps trans and gender diverse communities and their allies access trusted, evidence-based health information. This is a full-time position (70 hours per fortnight) based in Gadigal (Surry Hills).

ACON is Australia’s largest health promotion organisation specialising in community health, inclusion, and HIV responses for people of diverse sexualities and genders. What you’ll do
- Research, create and publish website and social media content, including short-form video, graphics and other written and visual content.
- Work with community members, clinicians, translators and content contributors to ensure TransHub content is accurate, relevant and accessible.
- Develop campaigns that increase awareness of TransHub and improve access to trans-affirming healthcare information.
What we’re looking for
- Territory qualifications and at least two years postgraduate experience in marketing, communications or related field.
- Experience in managing a social media content calendar.
- Experience with design tools such as Adobe Suite, Canva, or Figma.
- Experience in writing and editing content for CMS platforms, including Wordpress.
- Lived experience of, or connection with, trans and gender diverse communities.
Salary and location
- Salary: Starting from $88,192.08 (Gross Annual Salary PLUS Superannuation and Leave Loading).
- Location: Gadigal (Surry Hills), with flexible working options.
- Hours: Full-Time on a 2 year fixed term contract with potential extension.
