Based in Victoria, you'll develop current business, strengthen existing customer relationships and help customers find suitable crane hire options for their projects. Your crane knowledge will be central to the role, including assisting with customer handovers and familiarisation.

Key responsibilities

- Identifying and securing new dry hire opportunities across Victoria, while supporting opportunities nationally
- Building relationships with crane companies, civil contractors, builders and infrastructure project teams
- Visiting customers and project sites to understand upcoming work, equipment requirements and hire durations
- Discussing crane specifications, load charts, configurations, working radii, site access and mobilisation requirements
- Preparing and following up quotations, contributing to tender submissions, negotiating hire arrangements and helping to improve fleet utilisation through commercially sound, repeat business
- Working with operations and service teams to coordinate availability, mobilisation and ongoing customer support
- Maintaining accurate CRM records, tracking opportunities and reporting on sales activity, upcoming projects and customer feedback

About you

- Strong crane industry experience gained through sales, business development, crane operations, hire coordination or a similar role
- A practical understanding of crane capabilities, configurations and operating requirements
- The ability to explain technical information clearly and build credibility with customers




- Strong commercial judgement, with the confidence to pursue opportunities, negotiate and close work
- An organised approach to quotations, customer follow-up and managing your sales pipeline
- Initiative, accountability and the ability to work independently within a small team
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel for customer and site visits
- Experience with crawler and telescopic crawler cranes, established Victorian industry relationships, and relevant crane operating, dogging or rigging licences will be highly regarded
