Make a difference where safety, security and patient care come together.Join the team at Coffs Harbour Health Campus as a Casual Health and Security Assistant in both Wardsman and Security, helping create a safe, secure and supportive environment for patients, visitors and staff.

About the role

You’ll provide a visible security presence across the hospital, responding to incidents, alarms and security requests while supporting clinical teams with patient transfers, equipment movement and general patient care. You’ll also assist with cleaning, infection control and maintaining a secure environment across the campus.

About you

- Current NSW Class 1A Security Licence, Senior First Aid Certificate and Driver Licence
- Confident managing challenging behaviours, aggressive incidents and duress situations
- Calm, professional and able to communicate effectively with people at all levels
- Flexible and comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of WHS, safe manual handling and infection control practices
- Available for a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and all shifts
- Comfortable working in a hospital environment, including the morgue
