Housing Support Worker Kenmore QLD, Australia

As a Housing Support Worker based at our Kenmore Head Office, you'll support individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of losing their housing. This is a rewarding role where you'll help clients access safe accommodation, strengthen their independence, and sustain long-term tenancy outcomes.

What you'll be doing:

- Supporting people through personalised case management and support plans
- Helping clients build the skills and confidence to sustain their tenancy
- Assisting with budgeting, advocacy, and connecting clients with community services
- Conducting assessments and identifying risks and support needs
- Working closely with partner organisations to achieve the best outcomes for clients
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting requirements

About you:

- Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, Community Services or a related field – or equivalent work experience
- Experience in housing, homelessness, family support, mental health, domestic and family violence, child and family services, or a similar community services setting.




- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships and trust with people from diverse backgrounds
- A practical, strengths-based approach to supporting people through complex challenges
- A current Driver's Licence
- Intermediate computer / Microsoft Office skills
- National Police Check and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
