ABOUT THE ROLE

A hands‑on Level 2 / Level 3 routing and switching specialist supporting enterprise networks across Cisco, Meraki and Palo Alto Networks, with Meraki API automation at the core. Explicit pathways into architecture, presales or team leadership.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Be the senior escalation point for complex routing, switching, wireless and firewall incidents
- Lead the response to major incidents, root cause analysis and post-incident reviews
- Configure and optimise BGP, OSPF, VLANs and high availability on Cisco platforms
- Deploy and manage Meraki MX, MS and MR environments
- Automate with the Meraki Dashboard API and Python
- Configure Palo Alto firewalls: policy, NAT, VPN and GlobalProtect
- Deliver changes and projects, and mentor L1 and L2 engineers

WHAT YOU BRING





- 5+ years of hands‑on enterprise network engineering (MSP or integrator background regarded)
- Very strong routing and switching: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, L3, QoS, NAT
- Cisco IOS / IOS-XE and Meraki (MX, MS, MR) experience
- Meraki Dashboard API automation: Python, REST, JSON, webhooks
- Palo Alto Networks firewall configuration and support
- ITIL‑aligned incident, problem and change experience
