Want to see your designs come to life at some of Australia's biggest events?

The Valentina Group Agency (TVGA) is a Melbourne-based creative agency specialising in premium events, brand experiences and activations for leading Australian and global brands.

We are looking for a talented Activation Designer, Spatial Designer or Interior Designer to join our close-knit team during an exciting and busy period, working across projects including the Australian Open 2027, Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and premium brand activations.

The Role

You will jump into live projects and help transform creative concepts into visually engaging, practical and buildable event environments, working closely with our creative, production and project teams.

You will be responsible for:

- Developing 2D floor plans, technical drawings and detailed layouts using AutoCAD.
- Creating 3D models and spatial visualisations using SketchUp.
- Translating creative concepts into practical designs, detailed production drawings and build-ready documentation.
- Supporting the development of concept presentations, mood boards, renders and visual assets.




- Collaborating with project teams and suppliers to ensure designs align with creative vision, budgets and production requirements.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Is highly proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp – both are essential.
- Has a background in interior design, spatial design, architecture, exhibition design or experiential environments.
- Has strong spatial awareness, creative flair and excellent attention to detail.
- Is organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
- Can hit the ground running in a quick-paced creative agency.

Experience in event design, brand activations, exhibition environments or retail spaces would be a bonus, as would proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and rendering software.

The Details

- Location: Prahran, Melbourne – primarily office-based, with onsite event involvement as required.
- Duration: Approximately five months, with potential to extend.
- Start: ASAP – ideally Monday 2 November.
- Remuneration: Based on experience.
