Bober is a family-owned joinery business that has been making furniture in Botany since 1974. We do high-end residential joinery, mostly for interior designers, architects and builders: kitchens, wardrobes, panelling, libraries and custom pieces you won’t see anywhere else.
This year we won Best In Built Furniture and Best First Time Entrant at the ACFA Industry Awards. We’re busy, and we need another positive tradesperson on the crew.
The role The job is mostly on site, around 75% installs. You’ll fit our work in some of Sydney’s best homes. The other 25% is in our Botany workshop, helping with manufacturing between installs.
Day to day you’ll be:
- Installing custom joinery on site, from kitchens and robes to full rooms of panelling
- Scribing, fitting and finishing to a high standard
- Working with builders and other trades on site
- Looking after the client’s home like it’s your own
- Helping out in the workshop when you’re not out on site
What we’re after
- A qualified cabinetmaker or joiner
- Solid install experience
- A driver’s licence and your own transport
- A White Card
- Someone who cares about the finish and doesn’t cut corners
- Reliable, tidy, and good to work with
