Your Prospect

We are seeking two Electrical Completions Engineers to lead quality assurance close-out of electrical systems and hand them over to commissioning on major energy project in far North Queensland working a 2:1 roster.

You will verify that installed electrical works conform to the approved design, close out QA records, and make sure systems are complete, documented and ready to commission.

Additional Scope, Responsibilities And Experience May Include

- Review installed electrical works against approved drawings, single-line diagrams, schedules and specifications to verify completeness and conformance.
- Manage QA documentation for electrical works, including inspection and test plans (ITPs), hold and witness points, non-conformance reports and punch lists, closing each to completion.
- Compile and check completion and handover packs, including as-built information and test and certification records, before release to commissioning.
- Coordinate with construction, commissioning, testing and client representatives to resolve outstanding items and sequence system handover.
- Identify, record and track defects and completion risks, escalating anything likely to delay handover.




- Conduct site inspections to verify installed works and confirm readiness for energisation and testing.
- Ensure completion and handover processes comply with relevant Australian Standards, regulatory requirements, project specifications and quality management system requirements.

We anticipate these role’s running to the end of 2026, with a reasonable likelihood of extension into 2027 as project milestones are confirmed. This is a 2:1 roster, day rates, including uplifts and allowances. We welcome applications from the east coast of Australia.

About You

You are an experienced electrical engineer or technical professional with proven experience in QA close-out of electrical systems on building services, infrastructure or industrial projects. You bring:

- Essential: demonstrated experience in quality assurance for electrical works, including ITPs, hold points, non-conformance management and QA close-out.
- Advantageous: experience with Hexagon software.
- Experience handing over electrical systems to commissioning on rail, energy or similar major projects.
- Electrical engineering or electrical trade qualifications
- Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline and the ability to manage multiple close-out items to deadlines.
