ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents, ensuring their dignity, comfort, and safety at all times. You role will involve assisting with daily living activities, medication management, personal hygiene, and health checks. You will also work closely with a collaborative team to maintain a positive, professional, and supportive environment for both residents and fellow staff.
- Weekly pay cycle
- Salary $33.48 per hour plus applicable penalty rates
ABOUT YOU
Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and or qualifications:
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current Class C Driver's License
- Experience working with and empathy towards the elderly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Demonstrated commitment to training and professional development
- Knowledge of Work Health & Safety protocols
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability) or willingness to obtain
