About the company/role:
Our client is a well-known dairy manufacturer based in Southwest Sydney. They are seeking a current Food Science student to join their laboratory team. This role will work 2 days per week on Mondays and Fridays. Due to the location of the site, a car is required for this role.
Duties:

- Microbial analysis of dairy samples (TPC, coliforms, microbial plating)
- Operate laboratory equipment (Milkoscan, Delvo, Microfoss, pH meter)
- Conduct packaging analysis (torque meter, diameter, weight)
- Record all results and elevate any issues
- Reporting and analysis of results
- Maintenance of the laboratory environment

Skills/experience:

- Current Food Science OR Microbiology student
- Availability to work Mondays and Fridays
- Access to car and license
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Proficient in using Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Responsible for following food safety rules and guidelines
