Expertech is currently looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to help shape the technology future of a global energy organisation following an acquisition.
Working across strategy and execution, you will define the target-state architecture for the combined technology estate and develop the roadmap to achieve it. You will assess existing applications and infrastructure, make informed recommendations on what to retain, migrate or retire, and help ensure technology decisions support the wider integration strategy. This is a senior, client-facing consulting prospect suited to an architect who can engage confidently with executives and technical teams alike, balancing enterprise-level thinking with the detail required to deliver a practical integration. The position is a 6-12 month fixed-term contract, based in Melbourne, with an ASAP start. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with some time in the Melbourne office required to support collaboration, architecture workshops and stakeholder engagement.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to explain architectural trade-offs and recommendations.

- Experience supporting IT integration following a merger or acquisition.
- Background in the energy, utilities or critical infrastructure sectors.
