The Opportunity
You will join the school’s English or TAS faculty, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ curiosity, critical thinking and understanding of the world around them.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and appropriately challenging English / TAS lessons across Years 7-12
- Plan high-quality learning experiences that support diverse learning needs
- Differentiate teaching and assessment to help students achieve their potential
- Incorporate technology purposefully to enhance learning
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful, timely feedback
- Contribute to faculty planning, curriculum development and professional collaboration
- Participate in the wider academic and co-curricular life of the school
- Build positive relationships with students,

About You
You will bring:

- Relevant teaching qualifications and experience teaching secondary English or TAS
- Strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom practice
- The ability to teach with creativity, enthusiasm and academic rigour
- Confidence using technology to support student learning
- An inclusive approach to teaching students with varied learning needs
- A flexible, collaborative and team-focused attitude
- A commitment to students’ academic progress and personal development
- Current NESA accreditation, or eligibility to obtain it
- A valid NSW Working With Children Check

Experience teaching senior English and TAS subjects would be highly regarded.
