Full job description

Hay Children's Services Incorporated is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in Hillston NSW.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging educational programs that support children's learning, development and wellbeing. You will work closely with educators and families to create a secure, inclusive and nurturing environment where children can explore, develop confidence and reach their potential.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Hillston NSW.

What you'll be doing

- Plan and implement educational programs that support children's individual learning needs and development.
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment that encourages learning and participation.
- Support children's physical, social, emotional, cognitive and language development.
- Observe, assess and document children's learning, progress and development.
- Deliver engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Monitor children's health, safety and wellbeing.
- Communicate children's progress and development with parents and families.
- Collaborate with educators to deliver quality educational programs and activities.
- Maintain relevant records and ensure compliance with child safety, health and hygiene requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of educational programs and teaching practices.

What we're looking for





- Bachelor's degree or equivalent recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as an Early Childhood Teacher or in a similar role.
- Experience planning and delivering educational programs for young children.
- Good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
- Ability to observe and document children's learning and development.
- Strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of child safety, health and hygiene requirements.
- A genuine commitment to high-quality early childhood education and care.
