Our client, Applied Sciences is seeking a Data Analyst 1 to join their team. As a Data Analyst 1, you will be part of the Applied Sciences organization supporting Applied Sciences teams. The ideal candidate will have robust attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to stay focused on key points, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Analyst 1

Location: Redmond, WA (100% onsite, Building 87)

Pay Range: $37.17 - $40.07

What's the Job?

- Monitor existing OCR pipelines and track processing queues, job status, completion rates, and failed or stalled batches.
- Review generated OCR outputs against source documents using sampling and established quality criteria.
- Maintain accurate metadata, inventories, and dataset versioning to ensure datasets are complete and organized for downstream AI model training.
- Manage Azure uploads, downloads, and transfers of source files and generated datasets, verifying completion, file counts, and integrity.
- Coordinate reprocessing by documenting issues, escalating technical risks to engineers, and maintaining operational trackers and dashboards.

What's Needed?

- B.S degree and 2+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, data operations, data quality assurance, or dataset management.
- Hands-on experience with cloud storage, including file organization and uploads/downloads.
- Experience checking data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and metadata quality.
- Ability to use existing dashboards, processing tools,



and logs to monitor workflows and investigate exceptions.
- Familiarity with common document and data formats, including PDF, text, CSV, and JSON.
