Australia Post

Melbourne

At Australia Post, we're connecting Australian businesses to more customers, more markets and more opportunities. In 2025, Australians spent a record $82.6 billion online, up 14% year-on-year, with 9.8 million households shopping online.

Within our Parcels, Post & eCommerce Services (PPeCS) business, our eCommerce Growth division is helping shape what comes next. We're investing in digital partnerships, emerging marketplaces and new delivery experiences to strengthen our position in Australia's growing eCommerce market.

From expanding our network of more than 1,510 Parcel Locker banks to supporting the growth of recommerce and second-hand marketplaces, we're building on our established capabilities to meet changing customer expectations.

We're looking for a Head of eCommerce Partnerships to accelerate this growth, strengthen our position across the digital commerce ecosystem and help shape the future of eCommerce in Australia.

About the opportunity

This is an opportunity to lead strategic partnerships at a time of significant change in how Australians buy, sell and receive goods.

As Head of eCommerce Partnerships, you'll lead and expand an established portfolio of relationships with leading and emerging platforms.

With 46% of Australians purchasing second-hand goods annually, the growth of recommerce presents significant opportunities to connect new commerce models with Australia Post's delivery network.

You'll turn these market opportunities into commercial growth, strengthening existing partnerships, developing new revenue streams and embedding Australia Post's services into the platforms customers use every day.

Reporting to the General Manager – eCommerce Growth, you'll work closely with senior leaders across Product, Technology, Digital and Sales, while leading a team focused on delivering sustainable commercial outcomes.

You'll also:

- Lead and evolve Australia Post's eCommerce partnerships strategy, accelerating growth across established and emerging digital commerce ecosystems.
- Strengthen strategic relationships with major marketplaces, commerce platforms and technology providers, expanding Australia Post's reach and commercial influence.
- Identify and capitalise on emerging opportunities in recommerce, social commerce and digital marketplaces.

- Develop innovative commercial models and strategic alliances that generate recent revenue streams, increase customer acquisition and strengthen our market position.
- Work across Product, Technology and Digital to embed Australia Post's delivery solutions into partner platforms and customer experiences.
- Shape investment priorities through commercial business cases, market intelligence and partnership performance insights.
- Represent Australia Post at senior industry and executive forums, influencing partnerships that support long-term growth.
- Lead and develop a team, building commercial capability and a culture of collaboration, accountability and innovation.

About you

You're an accomplished commercial leader who understands how strategic partnerships can transform businesses, unlock markets and create lasting competitive advantage.

You combine commercial judgement with a deep understanding of the digital economy. You recognise where markets are heading, understand what makes partnerships commercially successful and can translate emerging opportunities into measurable results.

You're comfortable operating at executive level, influencing complex decisions and bringing diverse stakeholders together around a shared commercial ambition. You bring the confidence to challenge established thinking, balanced with the judgement to build relationships that deliver long-term value.

You'll also have:

- Extensive senior leadership experience in strategic partnerships, commercial alliances, ecosystem development or business development.
- A demonstrated record of growing high-value partnership portfolios, delivering revenue growth and establishing new commercial opportunities.
- Experience within digital platforms, marketplaces, technology businesses, eCommerce or comparable partnership-led environments.
- Strong commercial acumen, including complex negotiations, investment proposals,

partnership agreements and financial performance management.
- Established executive relationships and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across complex organisations.
- A strong understanding of emerging digital commerce models, platform ecosystems and the commercial opportunities created by changing consumer behaviour.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Strategy, Technology or a related discipline.

What else is in it for you?

- Shape the future of Australian eCommerce. Influence strategic partnerships and commercial initiatives that connect businesses, marketplaces and millions of Australian consumers.
- Lead at scale. Help drive growth within a business that generated $8.01 billion in Parcels and Services revenue in FY26, supported by continued investment in technology, infrastructure and customer experience.
- Make your mark on an evolving market. Build on established partnerships while pursuing opportunities in recommerce, emerging platforms and recent digital business models.
- Work with influence and autonomy. Collaborate with senior executives across the business, lead a team and help shape commercial priorities with national reach.
- Enjoy flexibility and support. Benefit from hybrid working arrangements, leadership development opportunities, team member benefits and access to health and wellbeing resources.
